Amherst Mammoths defeat WPI in Division III tournament opening round

The Amherst Mammoths, home to former Flint Hill School standout Nate Pabis, earned a 63-46 victory over the WPI Engineers on Friday, March 6, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

Ron Rosner Arena was the site for the 5 p.m. contest, marking the Mammoths’ first game in the tournament against the WPI Engineers.

Next, the Amherst Mammoths are scheduled to play on Saturday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. at Ron Rosner Arena.
