Arrest made in Annandale burglary; search continues for additional suspects

Detectives in Fairfax County, Virginia, have charged a woman in connection with a residential burglary that took place in Annandale in December 2024. The incident occurred on December 27, when officers responded to a burglary alarm at the 3300 block of Elm Terrace. Surveillance footage showed two suspects entering the home and fleeing after an audible alarm sounded.

Through their investigation, detectives identified Alessandra Ciuciu, 25, as one of the suspects involved. A warrant for burglary was obtained for her arrest. On June 10, the Montgomery County Police Department arrested Ciuciu on this warrant. She is currently held without bond at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility and awaits extradition back to Fairfax County.

Authorities continue their efforts to identify other individuals connected to this case. They urge anyone with information about the incident to contact the Mason Police Station or submit tips anonymously through Crime Solvers.

Detectives are seeking community assistance in identifying additional suspects involved in this case and encourage residents to register their surveillance cameras with Connect Fairfax County to aid investigations.
