On Saturday, March 7, Caitlin Crump, a former Oakton High School player, saw her current team, the Christopher Newport Captains, come up short with a 61-55 loss to the Washington and Lee Generals in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup took place at 8 p.m. at Holekamp Gym and marked the teams’ first meeting in the tournament.
