On Friday, March 6, Zora Burrell, a former Potomac School standout basketball player, helped her college team, the Chicago Maroons, claim a 60-44 victory over the Gustavus Adolphus Golden Gusties in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
The contest was held at the Williams Center at 4:45 p.m.
Burrell contributed 12 points, four rebounds and three assists in 21 minutes.
The Chicago Maroons are scheduled to play their next game on Saturday, March 7, at 7:15 p.m. at Williams Center.
