Detectives from the Major Crimes Bureau are currently investigating a death in Woodlawn. On May 16 at 5:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to Frye Road and Pole Road in response to reports of a tree falling onto a vehicle. Upon arrival, they found Juliana Kai Russell, 27, from Alexandria, inside a 2020 Toyota Camry. She was declared deceased at the scene.
Authorities encourage residents to register their cameras with Connect Fairfax County to assist the Fairfax County Police Department in solving crimes, locating missing individuals, and supporting investigations.
