Detectives investigate fatal truck crash on Fairfax County Parkway in Burke

Detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit are investigating a fatal single-vehicle accident that occurred in Burke. The incident took place on July 25 at approximately 4:09 p.m. on Fairfax County Parkway near Old Keene Mill Road. A 2022 Mack truck left the roadway and collided with a jersey wall.

The driver, identified as Kenneth Davis, 57, of Amissville, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to initial findings by detectives, neither alcohol nor speed appear to be contributing factors in the crash.

Authorities are seeking information from anyone who may have knowledge about the incident. The public is encouraged to contact the Crash Reconstruction Unit at 703-280-0543.
