Fairfax County Police announced on March 10 that detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect believed to be responsible for several burglaries and indecent exposure incidents in a Centreville neighborhood.

According to police, the incidents occurred between March 5 and March 8. In each case, the suspect entered homes through unsecured doors during early morning hours while fully nude. The most recent incident took place on March 7 at approximately 4:30 a.m. in the 14700 block of Ealing Court, where a resident was awakened by her dog barking and saw a nude man inside her home before he fled.

Detectives have linked four related incidents in the same area. On March 5, a victim on Bodley Square encountered the suspect inside a bedroom as she was preparing for work; he left when confronted. On March 6, evidence of an attempted burglary was found on Leicester Court after a resident discovered signs of forced entry into their backyard. On March 8, another victim on Paddington Lane heard footsteps and saw the nude suspect standing in a doorway before he escaped.

Police describe the suspect as a Black male with light or medium complexion, standing between 5’9” and 5’10”, with an average build. Detectives and patrol officers are conducting targeted enforcement efforts in response to these events.

Authorities urge residents to review any home or vehicle surveillance footage from early morning hours between March 5 and March 8 for suspicious activity. Victim specialists from the Major Crimes Bureau’s Victim Services Division have been assigned to assist those affected by these crimes.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Sully District Station at 703-814-7000 or submit tips anonymously through Crime Solvers by phone or web. Police also encourage residents to register their cameras with Connect Fairfax County to support ongoing investigations.
