Eastern Mennonite Royals fall 17-1 to Messiah Falcons in first meeting of season

At 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, the Eastern Mennonite Royals featuring former James Madison High School standout Mike Allen suffered a 17-1 loss to the Messiah Falcons in an NCAA Division III baseball contest.

The teams met at Royals Field for their first game against each other this season.

Allen gave up three earned runs and issued one walk over 0.2 innings pitched.

The Royals will host the Hilbert Hawks for their next game at Royals Field on Saturday, March 7, at 11 a.m.
