Since 2018, Fairfax County and Inova Health System have worked together to address health needs in the community. On a recent episode of “Connect with County Leaders,” Bryan Hill, the Fairfax County Executive, spoke with Dr. J. Stephen Jones, president and CEO of Inova Health System, about the progress made through their partnership.

The conversation highlighted ongoing efforts to improve healthcare services for residents and discussed how collaboration between local government and healthcare providers benefits the region. The discussion also touched on specific programs that have been implemented since their partnership began.

Additionally, the episode featured Allison Homer, program manager with the Office of Environmental and Energy Coordination. She described how Fairfax County’s AC Rescue program supports vulnerable residents during periods of extreme heat by providing resources to help them stay safe.

Both segments emphasized the county’s focus on supporting public health through strong partnerships and targeted assistance programs.
