Fairfax County Government used its official Twitter account on September 25, 2025, to promote several upcoming community events and initiatives.

In a post from the morning of September 25, Fairfax County Government invited families to participate in a costume swap event at Kings Park Library. Later that day, another tweet encouraged residents to register for an upcoming golf tournament benefiting local animal welfare efforts. According to the post: “Last call
