Fairfax County Government used its official Twitter account on September 25, 2025, to promote several upcoming community events and initiatives.

In a post from the morning of September 25, Fairfax County Government invited families to participate in a costume swap event at Kings Park Library. The tweet stated: “Bring your child’s lightly used and clean costumes to swap for a new-to-you costume at the Kings Park @fairfaxlibrary on Saturday, Oct. 4

Later that day, another tweet encouraged residents to register for an upcoming golf tournament benefiting local animal welfare efforts. According to the post: “Last call

Fairfax Connector began operations in September 1985 as part of efforts by Fairfax County officials to provide expanded transit options throughout Northern Virginia.
