Fairfax County Government has issued a series of public announcements via its official social media account, covering topics ranging from community reading initiatives to early voting and traffic safety.

On September 25, 2025, the county promoted a literacy initiative in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month. In the post, Fairfax County Government wrote: “Join the Hispanic Heritage Month Reading Adventure!
