Fairfax County Government has posted a series of public service announcements on its official Twitter account regarding upcoming community events and civic engagement opportunities.

On August 11, 2025, the county promoted an upcoming charity golf event: “Register now for the Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter’s fun captain’s choice tournament, Oct. 6, at Bull Run Golf Club. For details, visit: https://t.co/eWhx2w5ptR https://t.co/JZmCmlfKRB”

The following day, on August 12, Fairfax County encouraged residents to participate in shaping local identity through feedback on proposed signage: “We are seeking public input on design concepts for new gateway signs and banners to establish distinct identities for the Bailey’s Crossroads and Seven Corners communities You can view the proposed designs and provide feedback until Aug. 31 https://t.co/bRLgwwekyd https://t.co/IE9WqNsPGT”

Also on August 12, in recognition of National Poll Worker Recruitment Day, the county called for volunteers to assist with election operations: “Today is National Poll Worker Recruitment Day!
