On November 10, 2025, the county posted: “The Providence District along with several community partners, is collecting non-perishable food items until Nov. 15

The following day, Fairfax County Government announced schedule changes due to the Veterans Day holiday. On November 11, 2025, they wrote: “Fairfax County Government is closed Tuesday, Nov. 11, for the Veterans Day holiday. However, some facilities are open and schedules vary.

Later that same day, another post recognized military service members: “Today and every day, we honor all veterans for their service to our country. Thank you for sacrificing so much to keep us safe.
