The department regularly hosts and takes part in police district station gatherings, public meetings, and ongoing outreach programs.

According to the department, community involvement plays an important role in improving public safety, preventing crime, and building stronger ties with local first responders. “Getting involved in your community provides numerous benefits, including enhancing public safety, preventing crime, and fostering stronger relationships with your local first responders,” the department stated.
