A video is available for those needing assistance in creating a ParentVUE account. The same account remains valid until the student graduates, allowing access to information about multiple students within a family.
Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) high schools will administer the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT) to 10th and 11th graders on October 8, with 12th graders participating in SAT School Day on the same date. Students requiring testing accommodations or multilingual support should refer to the FCPS website for guidance on submitting requests by August 4 for accommodations and August 28 for multilingual support.
Families earning less than 185% of the poverty level can apply for Free and Reduced-Price Meals (FRM) for their children. Applications are now open for the 2025-26 school year. The FCPS School Board has updated Boundary Policy 8130 regarding phasing based on student grade levels during boundary changes. No boundary changes are proposed for the upcoming school year.
