Fairfax County Public Schools announced on Mar. 27 that it will hold an Instructional Teacher In-Person Job Fair on Saturday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke.

The event is intended for educators interested in joining the school system and aims to connect candidates with school leaders and representatives for potential teaching opportunities. Registration is required to attend the job fair.

According to Fairfax County Public Schools, attendees will have the opportunity to network with school leaders, participate in on-site interviews, and learn more about available teaching positions within the district’s schools. The event also provides information about working within Fairfax County’s educational community.

To participate, candidates must first register for the job fair and then apply online for instructional opportunities for the upcoming school year. All applicants selected for employment are required to meet Virginia Department of Education licensure requirements by their contract start date.

More information about specific schools, teaching roles, and application steps can be found through resources provided by Fairfax County Public Schools. Those with questions are encouraged to contact the FCPS Department of Human Resources via their web portal or by phone.
