The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors is requesting feedback from residents on the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 budget. The board is currently reviewing the FY 2027 Advertised Budget Plan and will consider possible changes before adopting a final version in May.

Residents can share their views through several options, including attending district budget town halls, participating in formal public hearings, completing an online survey, or submitting written comments. An interactive budget dashboard has also been introduced to help residents better understand the proposal by allowing them to explore county programs, revenue sources, and spending trends.

District-specific budget town hall meetings are scheduled throughout March and early April. These sessions offer an overview of the proposed budget and opportunities for residents to ask questions. Meetings will be held both virtually and in person at various locations across the county.

Formal public hearings on the FY 2027 Advertised Budget are set for April 14–16 at the Fairfax County Government Center. Residents who wish to speak must register beforehand and can provide testimony in person, by phone, or by video. Written testimony may also be submitted prior to or during the hearings.

Feedback can also be given through an online survey that addresses key aspects of the advertised budget plan. Survey responses will be shared with board members as part of their decision-making process.

County Executive Bryan Hill presented the FY 2027 Advertised Budget Plan on February 17. The Board of Supervisors will continue its review and is expected to adopt a final budget on May 21.
