Franklin Farm homeowners paid property tax rates equal to 1.1% of their property values in the fourth quarter of 2025, exceeding the national average by more than 1.3 times, based on figures from BlockShopper.com.

For this period, the median sales price of homes in Franklin Farm was $821,254, according to data from the 14 properties purchased from October through December 2025. The median tax bill reported in the city was $9,166 that year, representing 1.1% of the assessed home values.

The U.S. average effective property tax rate stood at 0.888% in 2024.

Within Fairfax County, Woodburn, Huntington and Merrifield recorded the highest median effective property tax rates.
