On Friday, April 18, former Herndon High School standout Mackenzie Swanson’s current college team, the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins, lost 9-4 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Christopher Newport Captains.

The game took place at Captains Park. This was their first matchup against the Captains this season.

The Marlins’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 5 p.m. at Captains Park against Christopher Newport Captains.
