Herndon High School standout Mackenzie Swanson’s collegiate team wins game in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship on Thursday, May 29

On Thursday, May 29, former Herndon High School standout Mackenzie Swanson’s current collegiate team the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins won 8-0 against the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Inspiration Field at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in the tournament.

The Virginia Wesleyan Marlins’ next game will take place on Friday, May 30 at 11 a.m. at Inspiration Field.
