Mackenzie Swanson, former Herndon High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Sunday, June 1 in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Sunday, June 1, former Herndon High School standout Mackenzie Swanson’s current collegiate team the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins lost 2-6 against the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Inspiration Field at 11 a.m. and was the second matchup against the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in the tournament.

The Virginia Wesleyan Marlins’ next game will take place on Sunday, June 1 at 5 p.m. at Inspiration Field.
