Detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division have charged a man in connection with several burglaries that occurred in Hybla Valley.
On April 17, officers responded to a burglary at La Taza Panaderia on Richmond Highway. According to police, the suspect broke into the business using a rock and stole money before leaving. Detectives took over the investigation.
Police noted that multiple burglaries happened in April where a suspect used a similar method of breaking business doors with a rock. Through their investigation and with help from the Department of Forensic Science, detectives identified Eliasar Flores Flores, 23, of Alexandria as responsible for these incidents.
Flores Flores was already being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on unrelated charges when he was served warrants for four counts of burglary, five counts of destruction of property, and three counts of petit larceny. He remains held without bond.
