Man charged with murder after fatal domestic assault in Chantilly

A man has been taken into custody following a fatal domestic assault in Chantilly. On the evening of May 24, officers responded to a call at a residence on Bromall Court, where the suspect had reported an assault resulting in the death of his wife. Upon arrival, police found Kim White, aged 32, deceased from upper body trauma.

Detectives identified Alexander Towne, also 32 and residing in Chantilly, as the perpetrator. He remained at the scene until authorities arrived and was subsequently charged with second-degree murder. Towne is currently held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing as detectives conduct interviews and analyze evidence to understand the events leading up to this incident. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact their Major Crimes Bureau or submit tips anonymously through Crime Solvers.

Victim specialists have been assigned to support Kim White’s family during this time. The public is encouraged to register their cameras with Connect Fairfax County to aid in solving crimes and supporting investigations.
