Detectives from the Fairfax County Police Department’s Child Abuse Squad have arrested a 46-year-old man, Christopher Dudley of Fairfax, following allegations of inappropriate contact with multiple minors dating back to 2004.

On July 15, Child Protective Services received a report that a child had been inappropriately touched by an adult male. Detectives were notified and took over the investigation. During their inquiry, detectives determined that Dudley had inappropriately touched the minor on several occasions. As the investigation continued, three more victims came forward, stating that Dudley had also engaged in inappropriate contact with them in incidents going back more than two decades.

Dudley is currently employed as a real estate agent and serves as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with the Bethesda Chevy Chase Rescue Squad in Montgomery County, Maryland. He has also worked as a voice coach at St. Paul’s Parish in Washington, DC, provided private voice coaching lessons through Dudley Vocals, LLC until 2024, and was a member of Bailey’s Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department in Fairfax County from December 2010 to October 2012.

On July 24, authorities arrested Dudley and transported him to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. He faces eight counts of Aggravated Sexual Battery and eight counts of Indecent Liberties by Custodian. He is being held without bond.

“Victim specialists from our Victim Services Division have been assigned to ensure that the victims are receiving appropriate resources and assistance.”
