Detectives from the McLean Police District have arrested Marcus Robinson, a Maryland resident, in connection with multiple vehicle break-ins and larcenies in McLean. The arrest followed an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division and assistance from the Fugitive Track and Apprehension Unit.

The incidents began on January 5 when officers responded to reports of property destruction at Westbranch Drive and Westpark Drive. Further investigations revealed additional vehicles in the area had been broken into, with some items stolen. Detectives linked these events to similar occurrences in nearby streets.

Through their efforts, detectives identified Robinson as the suspect. On June 24, Maryland State Police executed a search warrant at his residence and took him into custody. Robinson is currently held at Prince George’s County Jail awaiting extradition to Fairfax County where he faces charges including three counts of Felony Credit Card Theft, three counts of Credit Card Fraud, and three counts of Destruction of Property.

Detectives urge anyone with information about these incidents to contact the McLean Station or submit tips anonymously through Crime Solvers. They emphasize that anonymous tipsters are eligible for cash rewards.
