McLean High School standout Griffin Stieg’s college team won in NCAA Division I baseball game on Sunday, April 6

On Sunday, April 6, former McLean High School standout Griffin Stieg’s current college team, the Virginia Tech Hokies, won 11-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The game took place at Frank Eck Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Fighting Irish this season.

The Hokies’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 6 p.m. at English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park against Troy Trojans.
