On Wednesday, April 16, former Herndon High School standout Mackenzie Swanson’s current college team, the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins, won 4-1 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Bridgewater Eagles.

The game took place at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Marlins’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 5 p.m. at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park against Bridgewater Eagles.
