Detectives from the McLean Police District are seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect linked to several vehicle break-ins and larcenies in McLean. The incidents began on January 5, when officers responded to a report of property destruction at Westbranch Drive and Westpark Drive. During their investigation, they discovered additional vehicles had been broken into, with some items stolen.

The pattern of break-ins has continued in the area, leading detectives to believe that one suspect is responsible for multiple offenses. These include incidents of destruction of property and larceny on various dates and locations such as Maitland Street, Sky Lark Lane, Boone Boulevard, and others within McLean.

Photos of the suspect have been released after it was determined that stolen credit cards were used at a convenience store on Leesburg Pike in Idylwood on February 9 and April 6.

Detectives urge anyone with information about these crimes to contact the McLean Station at 703-556-7750 or submit tips anonymously through Crime Solvers by calling 1-866-411-TIPS (866-411-8477) or via their website. Anonymous tipsters may receive cash rewards. Those willing to be contacted by detectives should leave their details.
