Shippensburg falls 7-5 to Slippery Rock in NCAA Division II baseball matchup

Former George C Marshall High School standout Nathan Lake and the Shippensburg Raiders were defeated 7-5 by Slippery Rock The Rock in their NCAA Division II baseball matchup held Saturday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m.

The game was played at Jack Critchfield Park and marked their third meeting of the season. The previous matchup took place Friday, Feb. 27, when the Raiders topped The Rock 7-5.

Lake contributed by pitching one inning, striking out one and walking one.

The Raiders are set to play Slippery Rock The Rock again at Jack Critchfield Park on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 3:30 p.m.
