FAIRFAX COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS: Ask Me Why - Teen Vaccine

Maskstudent

Fairfax County Public Schools issued the following announcement on May. 27.

The COVID-19 vaccine is now available for people ages 12 and up. This means just about every middle and high school student in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) may now be vaccinated.

FCPS is encouraging student vaccinations because this is one more way to ensure the safest school environment for everyone and for students to avoid quarantine if they are exposed to someone with COVID-19.

Ask Me Why

In a new campaign, "Ask Me Why," teens at Westfield and Justice high schools are featured below in photos and videos. They share why they got vaccinated or wanted to be vaccinated. (Note: In some photos, masks were briefly removed, but safety measures were in place.)

Join our campaign to encourage fellow students to get their COVID-19 vaccination. Use #FCPSaskmewhy or #FCPSvaccinewhy on social media. Each week we will randomly select submissions to share here.
