CENTREVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: Laptop & Textbook Collection

Centreville High School issued the following announcement on May. 28. 

Prepare your laptop for collection:

  • Remove all personal stickers (leave the business card holder and student identification card)
  • Using a damp cloth or disinfectant wipe, gently wipe down the entire computer, including keyboard and laptop screen
    • Before wiping down your computer, squeeze the cloth or wipe, until it is no longer dripping
  • Remove any label or tape on the power adapter
  • Wrap the power cord neatly
Return your laptop/charger: 

  • You will return the laptop and power adapter
  • If you have a laptop case, it is yours to keep or discard it.  We will not collect these.
Fines for missing equipment:

  • $467 - missing/lost FCPSOn Laptop
  • $23 - missing/lost FCPSOn Power Cord
  • Fines can be paid at www.MySchoolBucks.com
Senior Laptop & Textbook Collection

In-Person Seniors -

  • In-person Seniors are asked to turn in laptops and chargers to their 8th period teacher by Friday, June 4, 2021.
  • In-person Seniors are asked to return textbooks to the corresponding teacher by Friday, June 4, 2021.
Virtual Seniors -

  • Laptops, chargers and textbooks will be collected from virtual Seniors at CVHS Door 12 on the following dates:
    • Friday, June 4 ~ 1pm to 3:30pm
    • Monday, June 7 ~ 7am to 11am; 12pm to 2:30pm
    • Tuesday, June 8 ~ 12:30pm to 3:30pm
Underclassman Laptop & Textbook Collection

In-Person Underclassmen -

  • In-person 9th to 11th grade students  are asked to turn in laptops and chargers to their 4th period teacher by Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
  • In-person 9th to 11th grade students are asked to turn in textbooks to the corresponding teacher by Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
Virtual Underclassmen -

  • Laptops, chargers and textbooks will be collected from virtual underclassmen at CVHS Door 1 on the following dates:
    • Thursday, June 10 ~ 12:30pm to 3pm
    • Friday, June 11 ~ 9am to 11am and 12pm to 2pm
    • Monday, June 14 ~ 11am to 6pm
    • Tuesday, June 15 ~ 7am to 11am and 12pm to 2:30pm
