Centreville High School issued the following announcement on Jun. 3.

Summer Program Information

FCPS IN PERSON Credit Recovery at CVHS – For students who fail a course and would like to earn a recovery credit for certain core courses may register for this free virtual Credit Recovery program that will be in-person at Centreville High School. There are two sessions, so students can take up to 2 credit recovery courses. Session 1 is June 28-July 16 and session 2 is July 21-August 6. Online registration will close on June 21st for session 1 and July 12 for session 2. Walk-in registration will be available on the first day of each session as space allows. In order to ensure space is available, we are encouraging all students to register in advance. FCPS Online Campus – for New or Repeat Credit – There is a cost for the online courses and student can only take 1 online course. Most courses begin on June 21st. NON FCPS Summer Courses – Non FCPS course for high school credit must receive prior approval before you sign up for the course. Private institutions must be on the approved list at https://www.vcpe.org/SCHOOL-LOCATOR. Please contact your child’s school counselor for information and form to complete.
