Did you know that FCPS has one of the largest bus fleets in the country? With more than 1,600 buses, including eight electric buses, our bus drivers safely transport thousands of students to and from school each day. Parents will receive bus route information beginning August 13 from the Office of Transportation Services and receive weekly updates as needed.

Families and Caregivers: Be sure we have your current contact information on file, so you will receive emergency and essential information from FCPS. Update your emergency contact information in weCare which helps manage emergency medical information by enabling parents to enter and update their children’s medical data at their convenience online.

Everyone plays a part in how we return strong and stay strong all school year. We are implementing layered prevention strategies to keep everyone healthy,  especially those who are not yet able to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Read more about how these strategies work together.

FCPS is using a new learning management system called Schoology. Parents can view their child's assignments and participation, calendar information, teacher comments, and more.

Masks are an essential tool in preventing the spread of COVID-19 and protecting those unable to be vaccinated. To ensure a safe start to the school year, masks will be required for everyone, regardless of vaccination status, inside FCPS school buildings. Learn more about how we plan to return safely.
