Fairfax County issued the following announcement on Sept. 2
We are updating and combining the Bicycle Master Plan and the Countywide Trails Plan into the ActiveFairfax Transportation Plan. Active transportation means self-propelled, mostly human-powered travel including walking, biking, rolling (scooter, wheelchair, stroller), hiking, running, and riding for transportation and recreational purposes in Fairfax County.
Our Department of Transportation is hosting virtual community information meetings on Sept. 13 and 15 to discuss the draft vision, goals and objectives.
You also can review the proposed roadmap and share feedback until Sept. 19.
