SULLY DISTRICT STATION
MALICIOUS WOUNDING (SHOOTING): 14300 block of Newbrook Drive, 10/23/21, 7:43 p.m. Two men had an argument in the parking lot that escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation, a 22-year-old man from Centreville produced a handgun and shot the victim. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were deemed non-life-threatening. The shooter remained at the scene and was later charged with malicious wounding.
ROBBERY: 5700 block of Union Mill Road, 10/28/21, 10:15 p.m. The victim met a man at the location to sell property. Once at the location, the man produced a handgun and took the property without paying. No injuries were reported.
MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 3600 block of Derwood Lane, 10/25/21, 3:50 a.m. A man approached the victim with a knife and demanded property. The victim ran away, and the suspect left the area. No injuries were reported.
COMMERICAL BURGLARY: 8401 Richmond Highway (Evangelical Church Apostles and Prophets), 10/26/21, 11:40 a.m. Someone forced entry into the church and took property.

MASON DISTRICT STATION
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 6100 block of Arlington Boulevard, 10/22/21, 2:46 a.m. The victim was approached by a group of men who demanded property. One of the men produced a handgun and fired several rounds before physically striking the victim with the firearm. The group of men left the area in vehicles. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening.
RESTON DISTRICT STATION
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 2200 block of Colts Neck Road, 10/28/21, 10:42 p.m. A man grabbed the victim and demanded property. The victim was able to break free and the suspect left the area. No injuries were reported.
ROBBERY/ CARJACKING/ ABDUCTION: 11800 block of Breton Court, 10/28/21, 11:46 a.m. A man grabbed the victim and demanded property and car keys. The man then drove away in the victim’s car. The victim was treated for injuries that were not considered life threatening.
FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION
ROBBERY: 6000 block of Kingstowne Village Parkway, 10/27/21, 8:31 p.m., The victim was approached by a man, assaulted and personal property was taken.No injuries were reported.
COMMERICAL BURGLARY: 6536 Backlick Road (Springfield Motors), 10/27/21, 2:30 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business.
WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
MALICIOUS WOUNDING (SHOOTING): 7000 block of Suraci Court, 10/22/21, 9:11 p.m. During an altercation, a man produced a firearm and shot the victim in the upper body. The man left the area. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life threatening. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this to be a random act of violence.
FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: 13000 block of Franklin Farm Road, 10/27/21, 4:01 p.m. A man shot a crossbow into a vehicle causing damage. No injuries were reported. 20213000174
ROBBERY: McLearen Road and Centerville Road, 10/27/21, 5:28 p.m. The suspect engaged the victim in conversation. While talking, the suspect implied she had a weapon, assaulted the victim and took personal property. The suspect left the area in a vehicle. No injuries were reported.
