Costello's Ace Hardware chain on the east coast will officially open its store in Warrenton, Virginia in early April, according to an Ace Hardware news release.

The Ace Hardware location at 251 W. Lee Hwy in Warrenton, in the Warrenton Village Center, will celebrate its official grand opening April 1-3. Customers will find "the company’s unique blend of personal, knowledgeable and helpful service paired with quality home maintenance expertise and products to Warrenton residents," the Ace Hardware news release said.

"Our mission is to provide customers with the neighborly advice and assistance they have come to expect from Ace," Costello's Ace Hardware Owner Joey Costello said in the news release. "We look forward to becoming a helpful and valuable neighbor to the community, both inside and outside the walls of our store."

The Warrenton location's design is expected "to reflect the needs of the Warrenton community" as the helpful place filled with Ace Hardware solutions to everyday home maintenance, along with the wide array of products such as lawn, paint and garden, the news release said.

The Warrenton location is only one of the latest in Costello's Ace Hardware chain. The Costello's Ace Hardware chain of stores was started by the late Vincent Costello back in 1976 with acquisition of what would be the chain's first location, a struggling hardware store in Deer Park, New York. Costello's made that store into a success. During the subsequent decades, Costello's Ace Hardware opened stores elsewhere in New York and branched into New Jersey and Maryland.

Last spring, Costello's Ace Hardware entered northern Virginia when it acquired a three-location hardware chain that had been family operated for about 55 years. The Warrenton location was part of that deal, along with two other northern Virginia stores in Colonial Beach and King George. The three locations are among the 38 Ace Hardware stores listed on Costello's Ace Hardware's list of active locations on its website.

Ace Hardware also has been around for decades. Headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois, Ace Hardware has been a neighborhood staple in thousands of communities throughout the United States and throughout the world for about 90 years. Ace Hardware is the largest hardware cooperative in the industry with more than 5,500 stores locally owned and operated across the globe, including all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, as well as in about 60 countries. Ace and its subsidiaries operate out of 14 distribution centers in the United States and also distribute in Shanghai and Panama City, in addition to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In 2014, Ace Hardware was ranked "Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Home Improvement Retail Stores, Eight Years in a Row" by J.D. Power.
