Of the 18,099 people living in Idylwood in 2020, 48.6 percent (8,795) were women and 51.4 percent (9,304) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Fairfax News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 404. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,158 females and 870 males.
