In honor of Trauma Awareness Month, today’s healthcare hero is Dr. Rahil Dharia, Trauma Medical Director at Inova Loudoun Hospital's Level III Trauma Center. As a trauma, critical care and acute care surgeon, he believes operating on a patient is a privilege that few are given and considers it an honor. He says surgery requires a great team and he loves the team he works with at Inova Loudoun.
To relax, Dr. Dharia enjoys spending time with family and traveling. Fun fact: the most amazing place he’s been to is Croatia - only to see the Game of Thrones shooting locations.
