At 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, Towson Tigers, featuring former Marshall High School standout Vincent Salvo, earned an 8-3 NCAA Division I baseball win over the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks.

The matchup was held at John B. Schuerholz Baseball Complex and marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Salvo took the mound for 1.1 innings, allowing two walks and striking out one batter.

Towson will return to John B. Schuerholz Baseball Complex to face the Campbell Fighting Camels on Friday, March 20, at 3 p.m.
